Gas prices

I love the fact that all of these people are nailing Obama on experience. Isn't it this great and mightly level of "experience" that has helped contribute to our current situation? Hmmmm.

All this talk of how the economy will withstand the surge in gasoline prices reflects one more instance of how nobody gets what really happens when things hit the everyday household. Folks, let's remember that most people aren't big-time Wall street traders here. They're everyday common people that live payday to payday and feel every penny that goes to higher prices. Do we not all see that there will be a ripple effect to high gas prices?

A bigger question yet.....Why don't we hear many folks from congress talk about this?

Does anyone at all see a huge problem with the gas prices? Why isn't the media throwing more attention this way? Nevermind the immediate cost to the pocket book at the gas tank, that's the minimal part of this problem. The real problem is the trickle down effect that hits us at the grocery stores, the department stores, and other places that also feel the impact. How is the economy supposed to deal with this? George Bush may not feel the impact at the pump, nor the stores, but I know I sure do. Wouldn't be interesting to see how his oil stock is doing?
